Distillery Pictures Inks Deal with Fox Sports Network

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 18, 2007) – Distillery Pictures has produced a half-hour pilot called RUN UP for Fox Sports (FSN). The show will give viewers a unique perspective of the hours running up to a collegiate sporting event from the vantage point of four different participants.

The pilot will focus on the March 2005 UNC vs. Duke basketball game. It follows Woody Durham, the radio voice of the Tar Heels; Steve Kirschner, UNC’s associate athletic director for Communications; the manager and employees of the Carolina Brewery, Chapel Hill’s hopping game-day bar; and several UNC students who have camped for days outside the Dean Dome.

The documentary-style format will allow viewers to experience all the hype and anticipation in the hours leading up to one of college sports’ greatest rivalries. Click Here to watch the show open.
