Distillery Pictures Covers Farm Aid and Other NYC Stories for 'It’s Easy Being Green'

RALEIGH, N.C. (September 18, 2007) – It its most recent production junket, Distillery Pictures crews traveled to New York City to land interviews with Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Daryl Hannah, and Paul Newman for the Fine Living network series It’s Easy Being Green.  Stories include:

  • The day-long Farm Aid concert on Randall’s Island featuring performances by Dave Matthews, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, and John Mellencamp
  • The Bio-Diesel Alliance fundraising event at the Times Square Hard Rock Café featuring Daryl Hannah and Woody Harrelson
  • Show host Renée Loux gets a special hair treatment at John Masters organic salon in Soho
  • A visit to The Dressing Room, a unique, new Westport, CT restaurant co-owned by chef Michel Nishan and actor Paul Newman

Other stories include a visit to a trendy tea shop that features organic teas, Zagat’s #1 rated Manhattan vegetarian restaurant, and some urban farmer’s markets including one in Union Square.
